New Program Night Membership Campaign

We are launching a Membership Campaign to introduce ourselves and EAS to other Eastside people who are interested in getting outdoors to see birds and nature – people who perhaps want to invest some time in saving the environment or educating our kids about the environment.

This year's Christmas Bird Count is set for December 20, 2008. We welcome anyone who wants to help - from beginner to expert. Join one of the 8 teams of bird counters. Sign up today!

Field Trip Spotlight

Robinson Canyon and Elk Heights Burn, September 9

Sharon Aagaard led 8 birders on a field trip to Robinson Canyon, with an afternoon side trip to the Elk Heights Burn, on Tuesday, September 9. One highlight was seeing a Sooty Grouse fly through the woods.
