Adult Education
Here you'll find a list of all our upcoming classes. We look forward to seeing you on field trips and nature walks which are excellent ways to learn more about birds and the environment.
Youth Education
The Youth Education Committee works with a wide range of age groups in various settings. Members give presentations for schools, camps, science fairs and youth groups. In addition, they take students and families on field trips to see and identify birds. During the summer, they partner with the City of Kirkland Parks Department and give workshops at their camps. You will find more information about these programs and links to other useful sites on our website. Should you wish to learn more, contact our Education Chair at education@elwas.org.
Monthly Programs
Join us for a fun evening of socializing and learning more about the natural world around us. From September through May ELWAS hosts a local speaker on such diverse subjects as birds, other wildlife, gardening and travel. The program is free, and all are welcome.
