What You Can Do

Up one level
We believe in protecting the birds and our environment by advocating on their behalf with decision makers on the local, state and national levels. We want everyone to get involved in small or big ways. Here are some meaningful things you can do to help us achieve our mission.
Arctic National Wildlife Refuge
The Arctic National Wildlife Refuge is a treasure that we believe should be preserved. The value of this area to migratory birds cannot be overstated. ELWAS has worked hard to ensure that this area does not become an industiraloil drilling site.
Land Use Issues
One of the areas where we can really make a difference is in local land use issues. ELWAS' community includes the cities of Bellevue, Kirkland, Redmond, Woodinville, Bothell and some areas of unincoporated King County. We monitor development and other issues in these communities.
Cats Indoors
Keeping your cats indoors can help protect them and keep them from injuring or killing birds and other wildlife.
