Puget Sound Bird Fest is a celebration of birds and nature on International Migratory Bird Day (IMBD). The City of Edmonds Economic Development and Parks & Recreation Departments are organizing two days of bird watching and related events in and around downtown Edmonds, the Edmonds Marsh, and along the waterfront.

The mission of the East Lake Washington Audubon Society is to protect, preserve and enhance natural ecosystems and our communities for the benefit of birds, other wildlife and people. The ELWAS Office is located on the lower level of the Northlake Unitarian Universalist Church in Kirkland at 308 4th Ave S (corner of 4th Ave S and State St) just South of Kirkland Transit Center.
