'Tis the Season To Reduce Your Carbon Footprint
In this new year of hope and change, it's good to remember that the planet deserves our attention as well.
With the opening of our new online store, we're especially aware of the carbon impact associated with manufacturing, shipping and holiday travel.
Why not start off the New Year with some carbon offsets for your part of the changes? See NativeEnergy.com for details.
Online Store Now Open
Eastside Audubon is proud to announce the opening of our new online store. Click the Eastside Audubon Store, Amazon Go Green, or Powell's Bookstore links at the right, and a percentage of everything you buy goes directly to supporting the birding, conservation, and education activities of your chapter. Thank you!
Annual Dinner and Volunteer Celebration
Join us for our annual dinner and volunteer celebration of Thursday, January 22 at 6:30 p.m. We'll also enjoy several slide presentations by the members of our Photo Group. All are welcome!
New Program Night Membership Campaign
We are launching a Membership Campaign to introduce ourselves and EAS to other Eastside people who are interested in getting outdoors to see birds and nature – people who perhaps want to invest some time in saving the environment or educating our kids about the environment.
You can win prizes by helping!
Field Trip Spotlight - November 16
Skagit and Samish Flats, November 16
The weather was beautiful, the birders alert, and the birds here and there on the Nov. 16, 2008 field trip through the Skagit area, around through Washington Park and Rosario and finally to the Samish Flats.
Support Our Sponsors
Last summer's Bird Festival -- as well as many other Eastside Audubon programs and activities -- were made possible in part by the generous financial and in-kind support of PCC Natural Markets, REI, and King County Parks. Please show your support!
