·         Birdathon is the major fundraiser of the year for ELWAS.

·         It is a truly unique fundraiser.  It gets people’s attention.

·         Birdathon is a national event. There is usually publicity all over the country.

Where does the money go?

• Educational programs and scholarships for kids.
• Grants for teachers in environmental education.
• Monthly programs at membership meetings and movie nights.
• Newsletter to educate members and our community.
• Conservation work preserves habitat and advocates for natural areas all over the Eastside and nationally.
• Keep our office and library open for members and the public.
